Dostoiévski: crimes sem castigo | Flávio Ricardo Vassoler

In this edition, Café Filosófico debuts the new series 'The Metamorphoses of the Banality of Evil', which is based on the thoughts of Dostoevsky, Freud and Kafka. The meetings, which will run until October 7, are curated by philosopher Flávio Ricardo Vassoler. In this program, the curator of the series will discuss the Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky, who uses his work to construct a genealogy of the banalization of evil in the gears of society and in our individual actions. His characters deal with the lack of universal morality and growing individualism; they give in to the urge to demean and dehumanize others; dilemmas and characters that we can recognize and analyze in today's world.
