Welcome Back to the Other Side of Reality

Recovering from psychosis is no small feat. It may have been the hardest thing I've ever done. It didn't seem possible, but somehow, I managed to regain stability and get back up on my feet. I didn't know what to expect after psychosis, in fact I didn't even know I'd been psychotic to begin with. Coming out of it was more than just losing the symptoms, it was regaining myself - and that was a lot harder. I hope anyone out there in recovery can find a way to get stable too; I know what a huge accomplishment it is and it's a big thing to celebrate. •••••••••• 🎙️ “Lost Patients” NPR Podcast 🎙️ https://open.spotify.com/show/1avleoc... ❤️ TIKTOK ❤️   / psychotic.in.seattle   🧡 INSTAGRAM 🧡   / psychotic.in.seattle   💛 ART SHOP 💛   / speakeasy_designs   💚 FACEBOOK 💚 https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... 💙 BUSINESS EMAIL 💙 [email protected] •••••••••• 00:00 Introduction 02:58 Trigger Warning/Disclaimer 03:45 What is recovery? 06:03 My own recovery 07:26 Defining recovery 08:06 Where I started 09:26 With a little help from my friends 11:09 Choosing what to recover 12:17 Art 13:46 My art journey 15:57 Choose a goal 16:32 What recovery means to me 18:02 Building your recovery 20:18 Does recovery end? 21:33 Recovery isn't linear 23:29 Recovered 24:53 Ending that chapter 27:18 Everyone's recovery is different 29:46 Different experiences, different solutions 30:52 Recovery has to be self-defined 32:29 The best part of recovery 33:42 Conclusion
