They melt in your mouth! 🤍 Yeast dumplings 🥟 with cherries 🍒 topped with sour cream! 2. A very tasty dessert—fluffy steamed dumplings. Step-by-step instructions: 3. Pour warm milk (up to 40°C) into a bowl. 4. Add sugar and yeast to the warm milk, then stir. 5. Active yeast usually needs time to activate. 6. I trust my yeast, so I skip this step and knead the dough right away. 7. Add a pinch of salt. 8. Gradually add the flour. 9. Knead until the dough is soft and elastic. 10. Pour in odorless vegetable oil. 11. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and a towel. 12. Place the bowl in a warm spot. 13. Put a pot of water on the stove. 14. If you have a steamer, use it—it’s faster. 15. For the filling, I’ll make a light cream: I take heavy sour cream and add sugar. 16. I stir until the sugar dissolves; you can use a whisk or a mixer. 17. The dough turned out just right. 18. I roll out the dough fairly thick, about 5–7 mm. 19. I cut out the rounds using a regular glass. 20. I arrange the cherries on top. 21. Cherries or sweet cherries packed in their own juice work perfectly for this recipe. 22. The most important thing is to drain the liquid thoroughly. 23. I make these dumplings the way my mom taught me when I was a child. 24. I know it seems difficult, but it’s worth a little practice. 25. I don’t have a bulky steamer. 26. Instead, I use a compact, foldable insert. 27. I grease it with oil so they don’t stick. 28.
