After our first motorhome trip went so badly, we were honestly a bit nervous about taking 'The Boat' away again. Second time lucky, or were we about to discover that motorhome life really isn’t for us? This time, we headed a couple of hours down the road here in the Highlands for a peaceful weekend away in our Bailey Autograph motorhome. In this vlog, we talk about our second proper motorhome trip, the journey there, setting up on site, the surroundings, the quiet, the views, and whether this trip changed how we feel about travelling this way. After years of narrowboat life aboard Silver Fox, swapping the canals for roads, campsites, motorhome pitches and Scottish travel is still new to us. We’re learning as we go, making mistakes, finding little wins, and trying to work out whether this new chapter can give us the same sense of freedom we once found on the water.
