Driverless shuttles to be rolled out in Punggol by year-end

Punggol will be the first HDB estate to get public driverless shuttles by year-end. Acting Transport Minister Jeffrey Siow announced the initiative after a visit to the Chinese city of Guangzhou to study autonomous vehicle (AV) technologies. Guangzhou has progressed from testing AVs to making them a common mode of transport on public roads in just seven years. CNA's Claudia Lim reports.
