DERECHOES AND STRONG TORNADOES... - A Mega EAS Compilation (06/10-11/26 Severe Weather Event)

All I have to say is, Wow. What a scary event this was to experience. This is probably the most insane severe weather event I have been through since the August 10, 2020 Derecho. (SPOILERS AHEAD) In this video, I captured over 50+ EAS Alerts in this huge hour long compilation. It features some rare issuances of High Wind Warnings, Destructive Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, and PDS Tornado Warnings. This day also marked the first Tornado Warning I've been under in nearly 5 years. Across the region, Several strong tornadoes including several EF2 and EF3 ratings, formed in Northern and Central Illinois and into Northwest Indiana. This line of storms eventually formed into a derecho line of winds that tracked through much of Indiana. I was hit by the same storm that produced an EF2 Tornado in Hobart, but fortunately enough, the rotation completely weakened before it hit my area. It has been absolutely wild to see Illinois and Indiana become the new tornado alley in 2026, and we're still in the month of June.
