Automatic pumping stations IPS -1 are designed to provide a stable and uninterrupted supply of clean cold water to residential, household and commercial facilities and other consumers in automatic mode. Water intake can be carried out both from local or main water supply pipes to increase the water pressure in the consumer's system, and from open water sources, wells, wells, pools, reservoirs, etc. The stations can be used autonomously or as part of branched multi-level automatic water supply systems, as well as in irrigation and irrigation systems. The station automatically maintains the set pressure range in the water supply system by timely switching on and off the station pump depending on the water consumption by consumers. It is also used to increase the water pressure in apartments on the upper floors. IPS-1 stations are reliable and safe units, characterized by high stability, productivity and efficiency indicators for their class. The principle of operation of the station's automation is that when the maximum set pressure is reached in the consumer's water supply system, for example, in the case of a complete lack of water consumption by the consumer, the pressure switch turns off the pump motor and the pressure stops growing. If the consumer starts to consume water, the pressure in the system begins to decrease, and, upon reaching the minimum set pressure, the pressure switch turns on the electric pump motor and the pressure begins to increase. Pressure control is carried out by the user using a pressure gauge. In order to avoid frequent switching on and off of the pump due to uneven water flow or leakage in the system and, thereby, to increase the service life of the pump and automation, as well as to smooth out water hammer and ensure that the pressure in the system changes smoothly and not abruptly when the pump is switched on and off, the station design includes a hydraulic accumulator (expansion tank). The hydraulic accumulator is a steel tank with an elastic membrane inside that divides the volume of the tank into two parts. The membrane has the shape of a flask and is made of rubber or elastic plastic. In one part (in the membrane) there is water, in the other there is air under pressure. When the pump is turned on, water fills its part of the tank and, due to the elasticity of the membrane, compresses the air in the other part of the tank. If the pump is turned off, compressed air displaces water from the membrane, maintaining the set pressure in the system until the pump is automatically switched on. IPS-1 stations are equipped with cantilever rotary vortex self-priming pumps with a horizontal shaft and a dry-type rotor, which are driven by asynchronous three-phase AC electric motors with a supply voltage of 220 V, a frequency of 50 Hz. The IPS-1 station has the following advantages: • The intelligent control system of the pumping station ensures the longest service life (excludes frequent switching on / off) • compact dimensions; • intelligent protection system against damage (failure): during prolonged downtime, the pumping station automatically turns on every 72 hours to avoid souring of the pumping part; • protection system against water supply interruptions: if there is no water in the system for more than 8 minutes, the pumping station turns off, every next 60 minutes the system checks the restoration of water supply; • thanks to the presence of a highly sensitive flow sensor, the water supply is turned off in jerks; • built-in delay system helps to avoid damage to the socket and electric motor; • water supply flow priority system allows to ensure the most efficient water supply; • small dimensions and weight.
