Collaborative Practice in Nursing

Collaborative practice is a foundation for quality care. Professionals working together with shared decision-making, open communication and mutual trust are fundamental to collaborative nursing practice. This is a joint presentation by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA), the College & Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA), and the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA).
