2 Pahadi Thalis, 1 Epic Feast 😍 Himachali vs Kumaoni — Which One Wins?! #himachalithali #kumaonithali Tried not one, but TWO epic Pahadi thalis at Amrai by Café Lota — and honestly, this was a full-on flavour trip to the hills 🏔️✨ We went for the Himachali Thali + Kumaoni Thali, and both absolutely delivered in their own way. The Himachali thali was a total standout 🔥 Loaded with Siddu dripping in desi ghee, Sepu Vadi, Aloo Palda, Pahadi Dal, Himachali Red Rice (Laal Daan), date pickle, salad, and sweet rice for dessert — every single dish looked straight out of a food magazine 😍 The Siddu (stuffed with walnut, poppy seeds & onion) was hands down the BEST I’ve ever had. And Sepu Vadi from Mandi? Super unique and full of flavour! Then came the Kumaoni thali — pure comfort food vibes 🫶 With Pahadi Kheere ka Raita, Mooli ki Kadhi, Aloo ke Gutke, Chaulai ka Saag, Bhatt ki Churkani, Bhang ki Chutney, Ragi Roti, rice, ghee, and Jhangora ki Kheer… this one felt like a warm home-cooked meal straight from the mountains. The saag + ragi roti combo = chef’s kiss 💯 📍 Where?
