Pokémon Red: Part 24: Team Rocket Conquers Silph Co.
I reached Saffron City recently, and the most I could do in it was kick everyone's butt at its Fighting Dojo, its previous Pokémon. Unfortunately, Team Rocket had already occupied a lot of Saffron, to the extent that I couldn't even enter into its newer and official Psychic-themed Pokémon. However, one particular building was still available to me, and it's the biggest one in the whole city. I'm talking, of course, about the Silph Company building, or Silph Co., for short. ---------- Silph Co. is HUGE. Up to 11 floors to explore and investigate. You can use an elevator to reach each floor, but I focused more on using the stairs. I took careful time getting through this place. This massive building is swarming with Team Rocket Grunts, and you're not only fighting them, but also some Scientists and Jugglers that are working with them. You may also run into innocent people that are trying hide from these dangerous criminals. One of them is even a Poké Center lady that will heal your whole Pokémon team if you talk to her. However, the biggest thing about getting through Silph Co. is that it's full of teleporters that can bring potentially bring you into other floors. One path of them is needed to reach the final goal of venturing through here. The Rocket Boss Giovanni is waiting at the 11th Floor, but you can't reach it just by using the stairs. ---- You'll also notice that there are a lot of locked doors here that make getting through Silph Co. pretty tight, too. There's a Card Key lying around in the 5th Floors. It's within a narrow path that lies between two teleporters. All you have to do is walk over them... by just using them again to go backwards. See what I did at 53:48. If you haven't fought the nearby Grunt, yet, you could probably make move out of the way to get to you for a Pokémon Battle. The Card Key will unlock all of the doors for Silph Co., but for now I needed to recharge before going through this huge place one more time. Giovanni will be waiting for you at the top for as long as it takes...
