Pokémon Red: Part 25: Liberating Silph Co. & Saffron from Team Rocket

I ventured through Silph Co., fought a lot of Team Rocket Grunts, and even found a Card Key. And I mostly avoided using the teleporters. Mostly, I said. But now it's time to change that because there's a specific lineup of them that will lead me towards the goal of conquering this "dungeon". ---------- First, I started using the Card Key more to unlock the doors on every floor. This led me to fight more enemies and rescue more innocent people. It's also crazy how many items you can find in this building or get from other people. You're at risk of maxing out your Item cap of 20. On the 9th Floor, one of these unlocked doors will lead to the Poké Center lady I brought up before. She will be surrounded by beds for you and your Pokémon to rest and heal up in. What a sweetheart, she is! ---------- Once I checked through all of the Card Key doors, I went back to the 5th Floor. There's a teleporter there behind some doors that will be your way forward. At 17:32! And then when you step out... LOOK WHO IT IS! It's the Rival AGAIN! He doesn't seem to give a damn about Team Rocket taking over Saffron City. He actually thought that would draw you into Silph Co. so that he can fight you, again! At this point, Blue has fully evolved his bird into a Pidgeot. It even has the same Level as my own. BUT MINE'S STILL BETTER! He is getting more dangerous, though. While his Exeggcute seemed to be the weakest of his Pokémon, he will also throw against you a Gyarados, an Alakazam... ...and his fully-evolved, Level 40 Starter. In my case it was CHARIZARD! Now watch me beat that Charizard with a Level 32 Pikachu! ---- After beating the Rival, he won't be too discouraged, this time. He plans to head to the Elite Four, take them out and become the best Pokémon Trainer of the world! Before moving on, talk to the other guy nearby. He will give you a free Lapras for rescuing him. Lapras is a pretty good Water/Ice Pokémon, and it was built to use the HM known as Surf. However, I don't think I'm gonna use it for this playthrough, as I'm pretty comfortable with my Ice Beam Vaporeon and I still needed to give it a better Water-Type move than Water Gun. ---------- Take the next teleporter to reach the other side of the 11th Floor. The Top Floor. Fight one more Rocket Grunt and pass through the last door... ...It's time to save the Silph Co. President from Giovanni, Team Rocket's boss! ---- This time, Giovanni will sic Nidorino, Kangaskhan, Rhyhorn, and Nidoqueen at you. I'm starting to see a theme, here. 2 of these Pokémon are part-Ground, but Nidorino's final evolution into Nidoking will also be part-Ground... ---------- Even after defeating Giovanni and liberating all of Silph Co. and Saffron City from Team Rocket, Giovanni still has further schemes to with Pokémon. He's still planning something else, but what is it...? Talk to the Silph Co. President to get a very special reward for rescuing him: A Master Ball! This powerful Poké Ball is meant to never miss with catching a Pokémon, but there's only one Master Ball in the whole game. So you use it on something you REALLY want to catch. Something rare and not cheap fodder, too. Try not to waste it on a Fearow or a Tentacruel! ---------- With Saffron City liberated, I can go into more buildings, now. It also means I can finally take on its TRUE Pokémon Gym!
