I hadn't heard of Bürlis before. Since trying this version of "Swiss rolls," I've been absolutely thrilled. No other rolls are as quick and easy to make. Make the dough the night before in just a few minutes, let it rise overnight, and shape it the next morning before baking it in the oven. The rolls are crispy, moist, and very flavorful. If you freeze these rolls, they taste almost like fresh rolls after a quick bake. I can't think of any better rolls!
