All power to the polymath: Ella Saltmarshe at TEDxLSE 2013

Ella Saltmarshe is a screenwriter, journalist, strategist, campaigner and entrepreneur. She is one of the founding directors of The Point People, a company that harnesses the power of those who work across disciplines & The Comms Lab, a platform for the communications industry to amplify its social impact. Ella's latest writing project is a screenplay based in Afghanistan. Her journalism can be found in a range of publications from The Financial Times to Marie Clare. Ella also works internationally with donors, governments and NGOs on communications innovation. She is represented by The Agency. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
