Playing Greedfall: An Unadventurous Spirit

Today we're Playing Greedfall, the latest Spiders RPG taking place in a fantasy colonial playset where I shoot a million bears (ulgs) to death while talking about a bunch of people wearing hats. this video is a review, analysis, and critique of Greedfall that talks about how it fails to inspire adventure through its mechanics, how the addition of a best ending has strained its roleplaying to breaking point, and how Spiders, rather than work to fix their own punitive systems, instead try to sidestep them, creating a host of new problems, and how it can't decide if it wants to be a tale of finding unity, fixing problems and being lighthearted or a grim reminder of human cruelty and so it lands in a confused middleground, neither inspiring or sobering.
