Monthly Planner Art for July

In this month’s creative planner spread, we’re making a bright and colorful July insert for our handmade planner and journal. I’m using easy mixed media techniques with Distress Oxide sprays, handmade garden inks, watercolor paper, simple flower doodles, gold ink details, and a few favorite planner pages to create something personal, useful, and fun to look back on year after year. In this video, you’ll see how I: • Layer spray inks and water for soft, colorful backgrounds • Add free-form flowers, dots, leaves, and swirls with handmade inks and watercolor pens • Use gold ink in a fine line bottle for lettering and special details • Assemble monthly planner pages, pockets, habit tracker pages, and weekly pages • Document real life in a creative planner you’ll want to revisit later Gather your sprays, inks, watercolor pens, gel pens, scraps, and favorite papers, and create along with me.
