Applying a Hoof Poultice

Just a quick video showing how we apply a Poultice to a horses foot. Poultice are used to draw out any infection, pus or dirt from within the foot and works extremely well. Wet poulticing also helps to soften the foot, making it easier for an abscess to tract to the surface. Here we show you how quick and easy the process can be made, the key is preparation and having everything to hand.
