Burford CAMC Club Site Oxfordshire

WHERE ARE WE THIS WEEK: Join us on a site tour of the Burford Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite in Ofxfordshire. For the whole week we were there, the sun showed it's face and we were working in t-shirts and shorts. We could not have asked for better touring weather, sat outside for evening meals etc. Kate's brother came to visit on the Saturday and he dropped us off in the center of Oxford, where we had a mooch around the shops and ate lunch in Wetherspoons. We got the bus back to Burford and an uber from Burford back to site. As you wll see from some parts of the video, I tried the phone gimbal again to see if I can get more stable videos, but it was not playing ball with my Samsung S21 that I am using for videos. PITCH: We were on pitch 50 which is a white marker, hard standing with awning and 16 amp EHU. Plenty of room for Connie Comanche and even Freddie Fiat 500 if we had brought him. ONSITE FACILITIES: On site, there is great shower and toilet block, clean and warm. The laundry block has a single washer and dryer, but these are commercial models so take 8 KG washing and 10 KG drying. Payment is by contactless card at £5.00 for a 60 min wash and £5 for 60 min drying (£1.25 for 15 mins), which is enough for a full wash and dry load. We managed to get most of our washing from over the last week done for £20. A few ELSAN and water points are available around the site with the motorhome service point near the facilities block. Everyone we saw was friendly and said hello to us. - That always makes a site stay more enjoyable! VALUE FOR MONEY: Yes, it is great value for a few nights stop over. Most sites get costly if spending a whole week there. WILL WE RETURN: Maybe, it depends if we are ever back if we are in the area.
