Commonplace vs Zibaldone

What are the differences between a catch-all, a commonplace book, and a zibaldone? I'm breaking down three different notebooking formats that are part of my current analog ecosystem, and they each serve completely different purposes. The catch-all is my daily driver for the now. It's deliberate and organized. The zibaldone is different. It's a hodgepodge of impactful quotes with zero rules, zero indexing, and 100% inspiration. No system, no structure, just things that resonate collected in one place.
