Behind the Flying Tigers: China's daring rescues in WWII
#FlyingTigers, officially the American Volunteer Group of the Chinese Air Force, is widely remembered in China for helping the Chinese people resist Japanese aggression. Far less known, however, are the stories of how Chinese civilians risked their own lives to shelter and aid the Flying Tigers. The film Against All Odds, based on true history, tells one of these little-known episodes. On the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, Against All Odds brings these memories back to life on screen – paying tribute to heroes and calling on all to safeguard peace. #V80 #FirstVoice #KerrDiary #peace
