Also helping China achieve victory was the American volunteer group known as the Flying Tigers, which assisted China in its battle against the Japanese aggression. Eighty years on, how shall we review the human catastrophe of WWII? What is the message China wishes to send to the world on this historic occasion? And how can the spirit of the Flying Tigers inspire today's China-U.S. ties?
