More from... Hilcote Valley Railway Targett Works Gala II 2026 with full line ride (different take)

By popular demand, a bonus film using all the unused footage from the main film, plus a small section (the last sequence that shows me driving the big diesel) filmed by Joe Targett. There's a different take of the double headed steam ride, this one mostly filmed from the left. A few extra run bys and station ambience. There was nothing wrong with any of this footage, just that I considered the film long enough with three line runs (double steam, diesel freight, steam freight) that it would end up like Gone With The Wind if I put everything in. There was just enough to make a nice bonus film. Another look at a terrific day, one of the very best we've ever had here at Staffs Transport. Big thanks again to the Targett family, and to Stu and his crew for putting up a super show.
