Delicious Chicken and Rice Recipe | Easy, One-Pot Meal, Baked in the Oven!

Chicken and Rice is a classic combination in nearly every kitchen. In this video, I show how you can easy bake moist chicken and fluffy rice as a one-pot meal using your oven for an easy weeknight dinner! Ingredients: Chicken parts such as legs, wings, thighs or breasts 1 1/2 cups of basmati rice 3 cups of water or chicken broth or chicken stock 3 to 4 tbsp of butter Good Seasons Zesty Italian Dressing and Recipe Mix Lemon Pepper Seasoning Directions: In a buttered baking dish, add the rice and half of the seasoning mix packet. Season the chicken with half of the seasoning packet and additionally with lemon pepper seasoning. Onto the bed of rice, place the seasoned chicken parts being sure not to stack the chicken pieces onto each other. Add pats of butter to the top of the chicken. Finally, pour in the water or whatever flavored liquid you are using. Be careful not to wash the seasoning off of your chicken. Cover the entire baking tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the oven at 400 degrees for an hour. If you use hot water or stock then reduce your cooking time to 40 minutes and check the chicken and rice for doneness. Remove the chicken and rice from the oven and allow it to rest for 15 minutes before serving.
