Houston Police Secret Santas Help Houstonians Celebrate a "Green" Christmas
The Houston Police Department surprised dozens of Houstonians today (Tuesday, December 23) with some unexpected, but certainly welcomed, Christmas cheer. While conducting traffic stops in various areas of the city today and in coming days, HPD officers are brightening the holiday season for 100 motorists by giving out $100 bills. Today, motorists were stopped for various violations and, instead of being issued a citation, were surprised with a "Secret Santa" $100 donation. Monies distributed are courtesy of a private "Secret Santa" donor.
