She had just scheduled her 59th surgery when a Secret Santa had a gift dropped off

#eastidahonews #secretsanta #surprise The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local Secret Santa give $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season. Megan is a young mom struggling with multiple chronic medical conditions. She has to rely on a feeding tube, wheelchair, and multiple medications. Because her conditions are rare, her prognosis is unknown. She and her husband John have two little girls. The youngest child is autistic and developmentally delayed. She relies heavily on her mother for assistance. Megan is unable to drive due to seizures, so she needs help from others for transportation. The family lives in a 1-bed 1-bath "tiny" house. At night, the girls sleep in the bedroom. John and Megan sleep on the floor in the kitchen/living area. When they built the house, they were unable to afford a power pole so the house is "off the grid." They have solar panels which provide most of the power they need, but there is often not enough to run the water heater. Megan never feels well, but she always keeps a positive attitude. She never complains and helps others as much as she can. During a recent stay in Salt Lake City, she took some rubber duckies with her and hid them around the hospital. Before long, everyone on the floor was on a duck hunt.In spite of the challenges, Megan and John are happy and content. When things get difficult or scary, Megan says, "Everything will be fine." They live a simple life and love each other and their girls. Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to visit the Bennetts with an early Christmas gift.
