***UK Boat Fishing!*** Solent Boat Fishing For Bass And Smooth-hounds

First trip of the season! I headed out down to salt mead early morning hoping to catch the low water just before it turned and started coming in. The weather was on our side with clear skies and nice sunshine. the usual dog fish was constantly biting.. followed by congas, bass and smuts.. rag worm squid and mackerel was the baits I used. All in all it was a perfect first day of the season. keeping an eye on the weather to see when I can get out next.
