Metaspeed Edge Tokyo for normal runners
The Metaspeed Edge Tokyo is Asics's carbon racer, specially designed for runners with a higher cadence rather then a powerful, long stride. It has an S-shaped carbon plate which is exactly what I need and a new, softer foam, the FF Leap. But how does it feel on the run? Is it comfortable enough to do my warmup and cool down in this shoe at a slow pace? Is the fit good enough for me as someone with wide feet? Is it faster and more efficient than my usual race day shoes, the Vaporfly and the Alphafly? I did 3 workouts (threshold and Vo2max) to find out. And I also did a stability test and a bounciness test to find out how it compares to other shoes. Will it come on top?
