ATKV Buffelspoort. Autumn camping trip 2026 E6. A very clean resort with much to do.

‪@atkvbuffelspoort3362‬ Hallo everybody and welcome to this episode where we show you why ATKV Buffelspoort is such a great place to camp. We arrived and were greeted warmly at the gate, and when we spotted the monkeys at reception, we immediately knew we were in for some serious monkeynastics during our stay. If you book online, a specific camping stand is allocated automatically without giving you a choice. Luckily, the reception staff were incredibly friendly and allowed us to drive around and choose another available stand that had not yet been booked. We eventually settled on Block B, stand 106, and we were very happy with our choice. The stand offered a lovely view of the river and came equipped with its own water tap, blue electrical point, bin, and mobile braai. Setting up on the paved stand was quick and easy, and before long we were fully settled in. We also checked out the ablution facilities and were pleasantly surprised by how clean, neat, and well-maintained everything was. The A block camping area appeared to be busier, while the C and D blocks, situated further away across the river, were closed during the low season. One of our favourite parts of the resort was definitely the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Even though Buffelspoort offers many activities and entertainment options, this trip was more about relaxing for us, so we mainly enjoyed swimming and some peaceful birdwatching around the resort.
