I had the pleasure of visiting Jim Mills and purchasing a 1930 TB-2 conversion banjo from him. The prewar Gibson banjo market can be very confusing and overwhelming as a buyer. When you purchase from Jim, you can be assured that you are getting a banjo that is exactly as described. These conversions can be purchased for just a little more than the top of the line new banjos, but I feel like the sound and investment in these old banjos is well worth the cost.
