Truly a bad week. But everything will be fine, sort of 😅 In this vlog you will see, among other things: ☀️ Friday dough day: nicely on schedule thanks to the warm weather, finished early for the first time. But then it turns out there aren't enough proofing baskets for the whole wheat sourdough loaves. Solution: round proofing baskets. All's well that ends well, and we finish off with a 0.0 in the sun 🍺 😱 Friday evening: I realize I didn't make a starter for the cinnamon rolls. Panic! Make a starter with very hot water, stay up a little longer, and then just make dough. Not ideal, but hopefully it works... 🥖 Saturday baking day: the trick worked! The cinnamon rolls are perfect. Oh, and the fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night too 🚨 🚗 Wednesday: car trouble, the week is going a little differently than planned. Fortunately, we are packed to the brim with flour, at least that's something. 🍪 Thursday: everything ready for baking day Friday and catching up on this super strange week. Because we also bought a new car right away. I'll be glad when things calm down again...
