Restoring a Neglected Giant FCR — Rusted Parts That Wouldn’t Budge
In this video I restore a Giant FCR that was in extremely rough condition. Many of the components were heavily rusted and seized, making disassembly a serious challenge. Several parts refused to come loose and required penetrating oil, patience, and a lot of careful work to remove without damaging the frame. What started as a neglected and partially frozen bike slowly came back to life through a full tear-down, cleaning, and rebuild. Watch the full process as this Giant FCR goes from rusty and neglected to smooth and rideable again.
