Glover's Reef, Belize (remote island in Belize) exploring jungle trails and their shore waters

From their website: glovers.com.bz Glover's Reef Atoll Island Lodge is located on our privately owned 9 acre/5 hectare Northeast Caye in the Glovers Marine Reserve, white sand, coral and coconuts, left in their natural state. Glover’s Reef named after English pirate brothers John and Rodger Glover in the 1750’s. Before pirates the Mayans sailed here, pieces of Mayan pottery has been found on the islands. In 1996 the reef was designated a protected Marine Reserve. Thirty percent is zoned a No-Take Zone patrolled by Park Rangers from the Belize Fisheries Department, they are located on Middle Caye. Park fees are $15 US per week or $5 US per day per person. Fishing license is $12,50 US per person for the week. Children under 12, adults over 65 and Belizeans are free.
