5-1-26 Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1003 Siren 1 Minute Hi-Lo Test, Providence, KY

Friday, ‪@madisoncountysirens4295‬ and I hit the road and made our way up to Providence, KY, to rerecord their Thunderbolt 1003 for Webster County's monthly test, as I wanted to get a better video of it, and we'd heard that they'd fixed the air leak on it. When we got here, however, we were pleasantly surprised to find that it had also been repainted red! Apparently the siren had gotten this coat of red paint about a week or two before the test, per the firefighter who chatted with us after the test, who was also the guy who had apparently been the one to repaint it. Harris and I were joined over here by ‪@DSRX100‬ while ‪@MusicCitySirens‬, ‪@Glist_‬, and ‪@Creeperfan12‬ all set-up to record this siren from a different angle. Webster County wound-up running about two minutes late, but, regardless, this was honestly a great test! Definitely quite a bit louder thanks to the fixed air leak, and the lack of any wind gusts during the test was honestly a huge bonus! Webster County, KY, tests on the first Friday of every month at noon, weather permitting. The Kentucky Statewide Siren Map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/vie...
