Guests can enjoy the ever-changing views of the lake to their heart's content. Ten of the rooms feature universal design for accessibility, making them safe and convenient for wheelchair users and seniors. This functionality is also a major factor in the inn's popularity. In addition, rooms with open-air baths and panoramic baths offer private spaces where you can enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Shinji while soaking in the beauty-enhancing waters of Lake Shinji Onsen. After checking in at the front desk, I relaxed on a sofa in the tea lounge, exclusive to guests, where spacious windows offer a panoramic view of the surrounding scenery. I enjoyed the self-service menu, offering a variety of soft drinks, including coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beer, all while savoring the ever-changing scenery of Lake Shinji. My room was an 8-tatami Japanese-style room on the fourth floor, a more affordable option on the "Mizu to Kumo no Sho" (Water and Clouds) special floor, featuring rooms with open-air baths. Just inside the entrance, there was a button on the wall that closed the door, a thoughtful touch that blocked out the sounds from the hallway. Though the room was compact, I enjoyed lying down on the tatami mats and enjoying the spring breeze coming from the balcony. The refrigerator contained carefully selected homemade sweets, and I was delighted by the cool texture and local flavors of the treat. From the balcony, I could see the hotel garden ...
