2026 NYSBRA New York Road Race Championship Cat 4

Fun race for the 2026 New York State Bicycle Racing Association (outdoor) championships, but definitely hot - there were a good amount of DNF's particularly in the categories which had 3 laps (ours was two). I was leading with 200 meters to go but couldn't quite hang on. Still satisfied with the result, and made it onto the podium by about 2 millimeters. Earlier in the year I got 1st place in the 40+ age group virtual state championship, so this was a bit of validation that at least some of the virtual effort carries over into real life...
