S KEERTHANA - AKSHAYA ARTS - DISCIPLE KALAIMAMANI GURU SHRI BINESH MAHADEVAN

Kumari S. Keerthana is currently a Class 11 student of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Chetpet, Chennai–31. She is a quick and enthusiastic learner and is a proactive student who consistently excels both in academics and the arts. She began her journey in Bharatanatyam at the tender age of 4 under the tutelage of Guru Kalaimamani Sri. Binesh Mahadevan. She did her Arangetram in the year 2023. She is a member of ABHAI and has actively participated in their workshop, Abhivriddhishala. A dedicated performer, she has been part of most group productions of Akshaya Arts. She has also performed at several prestigious platforms and Natyanjalis of Tiruvannamalai, Valajapet, Thirunallar, Nagapattinam. She has also successfully completed three levels of the Prayathnam examinations, securing distinction in all. Alongside her artistic pursuits, Keerthana maintains a strong academic record, having secured 97% in her Class 10 board examinations with A1 grades in all subjects. She also holds English language assessment certificates from Cambridge, achieved Grade 3 with excellent performance in Carnatic Vocal Music from Bridge Academy, and earned a distinction in the ‘Madhyama’ examination conducted by the Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha.
