Homemade Lemon Sorbet Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker
In this video I prepare Lemon Sorbet in our Cuisinart ice cream maker. Very simple to do. This is a nice easy thing to do with your family. Recipe: 2 cups sugar 2 cups water 1 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice 1 to 2 tablespoons of lemon zest Combine sugar and and water in sauce pan stir and bring to a boil stirring occasionally making a simple syrup. Set aside to cool. Combine simple syrup with zest and lemon juice. Place in a refrigerator cool completely. Place in your ice cream maker(mine is Cuisinart) and process for about 20 minutes. After you get the right consistency, scoop out the ice cream maker into to plastic container. Place in freezer. If you want to up your game scoop out the lemons and place in the freezer and scoop the sorbet into the lemons. Makes a great presentation. This is a very simple recipe that you can do as a family. Enjoy.
