Police Deputy Minister Cassel Mathale weighs in on June 30 protests
Police deputy minister, Cassel Mathale has told police officers in Bloemfontein in the Free State to deal decisively with undocumented foreign nationals. He says South Africa is not a playground for criminality and that police have to protect South Africans who will be marching on 30 June. He was speaking at the parade held at the Bobbies Park in Bloemfontein, to kick off security operations ahead of 30 June expected marches. Mathale says he wants to debunk the belief that police are re-inforcing security against South Africans. A total of 6 000 police have been deployed in the Free State.
