SENDING IT at Kart Silverstone

Racing go-karts on an F1 track sounds pretty cool, right? That's exactly what I got the chance to do at Kart Silverstone - a brand-new rental go-kart circuit built on part of the actual Silverstone Grand Prix track, including the famous bridge section that Formula 1 cars raced on until 2009. The only problem? I'd qualified 9th out of 26 drivers and ended up with a kart that felt... less than ideal. What followed was one of the hardest, most chaotic and most enjoyable races I've ever had. Over the course of an hour, there were huge overtakes, wheel-to-wheel battles, near misses and plenty of moments where I wondered whether I'd bitten off more than I could chew.
