This week, Tim's on yet another holiday working on his tan in the english countryside and taking care of his bees. Friend of Subdial, TV personality and founder of Serge DeNimes Jewellery, Ollie Proudlock has kindly stepped in to cover the biggest drop we've ever done. First up, A Rolex Bubbleback from 1948 complete with all the dated papers. Something you don't see everyday, beautifully aged, 18k gold, with all the documentation. There's vintage, and then there's VINTAGE. We have a Cartier Basculante Limited Edition for the 'I love Carter' series. A really interesting take on the model, with a diamond bezel, ruby cabochon, and an incredible central guilloche on the dial. Next up, the original Patek Ellipse complete with the gold integrated bracelet, screaming 1970's luxury. Perfect colours, perfect ratio, perfect watch. This week side by side with an Ellipse ring that we sourced for our 'Dialed In' video. Pure luxury from Patek Philippe. We're showing off a Piaget Protocole in yellow gold with a Lapis dial. We all know Piaget are the masters of stone, but this example, they have included carved grooves to match the aesthetic of the case. An incredibly difficult feat on such fragile materials, really shows what Piaget are all about. Lastly, A Blancpain Villeret Chronograph. An elegant take on the classic dress watch line from Blancpain, and we believe an excellent alternative for those looking for a thin, precious metal dress watch with an amazingly laid out dial.
