Die Restauration eines Mercedes W126 - vom Schrottauto zur echten alten S Klasse

This article describes the restoration of a Mercedes W126 over a period of 10 years. In the first part (2013-2014), the vehicle was rescued from a scrapyard and restored to a roadworthy, acceptable condition. This required not only meeting all TÜV requirements, but also ensuring that the car's appearance was already in good condition. This repair and restoration revealed all the weak points of a Mercedes W126: axles, chassis, rust problems on the body, interior, and air conditioning. In April 2014, the vehicle participated in a Mercedes enthusiasts' meeting for the first time. Many other videos of this vehicle were also published on the channel @vierkommazwei.de.
