Hello everyone and welcome to this weather update. Another red heatwave alert has been issued for July, and once again it's the northwest that's suffering, with temperatures exceeding 40°C for several days. Surprisingly, temperatures are dropping in the south, especially near the Mediterranean where they're falling below 35°C along the coast. Some thunderstorms, occasionally severe, are expected in the southern mountains and occasionally in the plains of the Aquitaine region.
