Slow Living in Korea | Spring Reset, Gochujang Sourdough & Family Dinner In today’s slow living vlog in Korea, I’m sharing a calm spring day at home filled with simple routines, homemade meals, and quiet moments of reset. I start the day with a lemon and pea risotto, followed by a slow afternoon reflecting on rest, balance, and learning to take things a little more gently. I also share a small update on my scalp care routine and how I’ve been using my hydrating scalp serum before styling my hair. For baking, I try a unique sourdough recipe: gochujang sourdough bread with scallions and garlic — a slightly spicy, Korean-inspired twist on classic sourdough. While the dough rests, I take care of my herbs and plants, experimenting with propagation and preparing for the spring season. The next day, I bake the sourdough bread, make a fresh Korean-style carrot salad, and continue working on translating Korean children’s books into German for my kids. For dinner, I prepare a comforting Korean chicken soup (Chicken Gomtang) with simple side dishes — a warm, nourishing meal perfect for the transition between winter and spring.
