I'm from Loja, Pepe is from Los Ríos, and although in Ecuador fanesca is a symbol of Holy Week, the truth is it was never really part of our lives. In fact… the first time I tried it, I didn't like it at all 🙈 But something changed. Everyone says fanesca is delicious… 👉 but only if you try it in the right place.
