Voces del Laberinto : Alejandra Pizarnik | #PoetryClub

As part of our journey through the Pizarnik Labyrinth, this final week of the reading cycle, we will confront the only existing audio recording of Alejandra. Herein lies a technical and historical rupture: Alejandra did not record herself reading her own work. On this tape, we hear Alejandra reading a poem by Arturo Carrera. A fragment from the book: "Written with a Nyctograph" (1972). If we connect all the points we have been absorbing this month—her diaries, the era, the letters, and the poetry collection that gives us origin and roots—we complete the experience of this cycle in the #PoetryClub. We can now reread it with her voice within us. Likewise, we will have the foundation to understand the subtext that her voice (melancholic and weighty) envelops us in during this recording. 💥📚✍️ Comment or message me if you'd like to join the full #poetryclub experience!   / laberintohabitado   #BookClub #WritingClub #AlejandraPizarnik
