Today I'm exploring Blok M, one of Jakarta's most exciting neighborhoods. Starting with MRT Jakarta, I visit M Bloc Space, walk through the pedestrian-friendly streets, explore Pasaraya Blok M, discover one of the largest Gramedia bookstores in Indonesia, browse hidden second-hand bookstores filled with rare books, and visit an incredible collection of CDs, cassette tapes, vinyl records, and vintage music memorabilia inside Blok M Square. To end the journey, I explore Little Tokyo Blok M, a unique district filled with Japanese restaurants, lantern-lit streets, and a vibrant nightlife atmosphere.
