letting my 10 year old decide what I cook for the day - what my kids eat in a day

Breakfast: chocolate chip waffles Dry ingredients 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/4 cup sugar 1 Tbsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda Wet ingredients 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 1/4 cup milk 6 Tbsp butter, melted 3/4 cup chocolate chips Directions: Into a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients and set aside. Into a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and vanilla then slowly pour in the milk and butter. Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and give it a couple of folds. Add the chocolate chips and give it a few more folds until there are no lumps, batter will be thick. Preheat your waffle maker and cook to your liking. Lunch: penne alla no vodka 8 oz penne 1 tablespoon butter 1/2 onion, diced 4 garlic cloves, minced Pinch of chili flakes 2 heaping tablespoons tomato paste 1 teaspoon salt Pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning and paprika, to taste 1 cup heavy cream or more 1/3 cup grated Parmesan or more 1. Cook the pasta per direction and reserve about 1 cup pasta water (this is important). In the meantime, melt butter in a pan and add the onion, garlic and chili flakes, cook for 5 minutes. Add the tomato pasta and cook until it turns a dark red color, about 5-7 minutes, be patient here. 2. Add the heavy cream, salt and the rest of the seasoning. Stir to combine and add the Parmesan cheese and stir again. Add the pasta and enough pasta water until it reaches your desired consistency. You can also add more cream as needed. Enjoy! Air fried chicken cutlets 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut in half lengthwise 1 cup all purpose flour 2 eggs 1 cup panko 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Seasoning: 2 teaspoons salt 2 teaspoons garlic powder 2 teaspoons onion powder 1 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1 teaspoon pepper Into 3 separate containers: all purpose flour eggs combine the panko and breadcrumbs divide the seasoning into the all purpose flour and panko and breadcrumbs, mix well. Dredge each cutlet into the all purpose flour, then egg and lastly the panko-breadcrumbs mixture. Spray both sides with oil and cook in the airfryer at 400F for 12 minutes, flipping halfway. Snack: watermelon, cheese strings and pringles Dinner: shrimp fried rice 3 tablespoons oil, divided 1/4 onion, diced 2 garlic cloves, sliced thinly green onion, sliced thinly separating 4 eggs 1 lb shrimp, cut into small pieces or sliced thinly 3 cup cold rice 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce, optional white pepper to taste salt to taste 1 teaspoon sesame oil Into a wok add 1 tablespoon of oil and cook the shrimp on high heat. Add a pinch of salt and cook for about 4 minutes or until no longer pink. Remove from wok and add 1 tablspoon of the oil, add the eggs and scramble. Remove eggs and add the remainder of the oil sautee the onion and white part of the green onion. After a few minutes add the garlic and cook for another minute. Add the rice, eggs and shrimp back into the wok. Add the soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, white pepper and salt if needed. Toss to combine. Remove from heat and drizzle the sesame oil and green part of the green onion.
