Castle Peak Hike, Spring 2026
This was a twenty-seven mile, two night loop hike in and around the Castle Peak area. As a newcomer to the western United States, seeing such large pine trees and wide rocky vistas was a great introduction to the area. The wildflowers were especially beautiful. I’m looking forward to getting to know all the wild places surrounding the PCT.
