Filming location: Dinkey Lakes Wilderness, California Join us for an overnight backpacking trip into the beautiful Dinkey Lakes Wilderness, a high Sierra destination known for granite country, pine forests, alpine lakes, and classic backcountry scenery. This trip was all about making memories with family and friends: hiking in, setting up camp, exploring several lakes, catching plenty of fish, and enjoying the kind of campfire conversations that only happen after a long day on the trail. In this video, I take you along as we backpack through the Dinkey Lakes area, visit multiple lakes, and spend time fishing the clear mountain water. The fish were biting, the views were incredible, and the best part was sharing the whole adventure with people I care about. From trail miles to lakeside casting to relaxing around camp, this was the kind of quick overnight trip that reminds you why the Sierra Nevada is such a special place.
