BRUNET ISLAND STATE PARK || WEEKEND CAMPING JUNE 2024
Brunet Island State Park is a great adventure in Western WI. A great escape for some hiking, camping, and definitely kayaking. The waterways around the north side of the island make for beautiful spots to kayak or canoe, stop and fish, or just enjoy the serene beauty of the area. The campground is nice, almost every spot has waterfront access- either to a pond that feeds to the Chippewa River, or the river itself. Usually very quiet, and the nearby towns have enough to do for an extended weekend with the family. A must visit if you enjoy North Woods camping!
