Obtención del Sello de Calidad Internacional SICELE

The University Diploma of Competence in Spanish as a Foreign Language, awarded by the Faculty of Humanities and Arts at the National University of Rosario (UNR), has received the quality seal of the International Certification System for Spanish as a Foreign Language (SICELE). The DUCLE is an exam designed to assess oral and written linguistic and communicative competence in Spanish as a foreign language. This certification can be used for employment, professional, academic, and general immigration integration purposes. Because it is administered through the UNR Virtual Campus, it allows students from all over the world to take the exam. The SICELE accreditation places UNR among the five institutions that award internationally recognized diplomas or certifications in Spanish. To date, three certifications have received this seal: the DELE (Cervantes Institute), the SIELE (Cervantes Institute, University of Salamanca, National Autonomous University of Mexico, and University of Buenos Aires), and most recently, the DUCLE (National University of Rosario). Obtaining this seal is a guarantee of quality, understood as the way in which certifying institutions develop and administer exams with exemplary functioning of the evaluation systems. To achieve this, the Association established a process management model that includes the application of best practices and sets 55 standards, which guide and evaluate the maturity level of the certificates that aspire to obtain it.
